JRI Singapore currently supports the overall IT functions of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in Asia Pacific Region.

Job Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

  • Assist with the end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Coordinate and schedule interview sessions with candidates, recruitment agencies, and hiring managers
  • Prepare employment agreements for successful candidates
  • Update and track hiring status for regular reporting
  • Manage the background screening process, flagging discrepancies and ensuring  clearance before onboarding

Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring smooth transitions
  • Set up and coordinate all logistics for first day of new hire onboarding
  • Oversee the enrolment of employees in the benefit program
  • Maintain an accurate HR database, update employee’s information in HRIS system

HR Support

  • Process government claims and ensure timely submission
  • Assist in organising internal training sessions, employee engagement activities and organisation chart update
  • Administer training registration and maintain training records
  • Assist in answering employee queries regarding HR-related matters
  • Undertake other HR duties/projects as assigned

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in recruitment support and HR Administration
  • Good understanding of local labour laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong attention to details and good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS software (e.g. SuccessFactors) and job boards
