As a system integrator, JRI offers services in IT strategy planning, implementation and outsourcing to a broad range of industries and activities. JRI Singapore currently supports the overall IT functions of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in Asia Pacific Region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery within defined scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Align project objectives with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, training, documentation, implementation, and post-deployment support.
  • Ensure compliance with delivery methodologies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Provide clear, timely, and accurate updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee vendor relationships to ensure accountability, quality deliverables, and effective contract negotiation.
  • Mentor and guide project managers, fostering a culture of excellence and strong leadership across delivery teams.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of IT project management experience within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, compliance frameworks, and both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams with proven leadership and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and drive consensus.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, with a focus on negotiation and ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications strongly preferred.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong decision-making capability supported by sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
