Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Project Manager / Program Lead to support the end-to-end delivery of Loans and Lending-related technology initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with defined scope and quality standards through to project closure.
  • Support the preparation of project artefacts including project charters, scope documents, risk assessments, budgets, and IT value assessments (e.g., ROI, IRR).
  • Engage business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for project initiatives; translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Supervise, guide, and review deliverables from vendor / external Business Analysts, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with internal standards, architecture, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide functional oversight and direction to vendor BA workstreams, including requirements documentation, solution design artefacts, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Work closely with technology teams to assess feasible solutions and address business pain points through effective technology enablement.
  • Contribute to technology solutioning by working with business and technology stakeholders to define project scope, business requirements, and target-state solutions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture teams to define appropriate solution designs aligned with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
  • Provide support to L1 and L2 support teams in the operation and maintenance of production applications owned by the team, including issue analysis and service improvement initiatives.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering discipline, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong experience or domain knowledge in loan origination systems, lending products, and loan operations.
  • Solid technical knowledge with hands-on experience in banking business process re-engineering and technology solution design.
  • Prior experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Banking environments; Asia Pacific regional experience is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Asia Pacific banking regulations, including cloud governance, third-party risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience or strong understanding of solution architecture concepts, design patterns, and best practices in business-technology solutioning.
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities with strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive positive outcomes.
  • Experience managing external vendors and partners, including leading cross-workstream initiatives and offshore delivery teams.
  • Professional Business Analyst and Project Management certifications, such as CBAP, CCBA, PMP will be an advantage.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
