  1. Ensure timely and compliant evaluation of Credit Proposal, support RM to conduct PEM, co-ordination with the proposal sanctioning authorities locally / regionally and in line with the various policies of the Bank.
  2. Understand customer need, then support RM for various possible options from the credit portfolio of products and services.
  3. Prepare credit application/credit grading/credit monitoring/self-assessment / credit ratings / renewals for assigned clients.
  4. Establish business relationship with new clients acceptable to the SMBC as well expand the relationship with existing customers in the assigned region and industry segment.
  5. Ensure timely reporting and MIS submission. 
  6. For all customers / potential customers;
    1. Ensure timely information sharing on Industry / Clients, any other information with RM / relevant colleagues (locally/ globally)
    2. Abide with the frequency of credit monitoring / trigger monitoring as per policy of the bank as well as decided from time to time by your Supervisor(s)
    3. Monitor and control covenants, loan agreement lodging etc.
  7. Support in closing transactions including circulating instructions sheets, collection of documents and follow up with other teams specifically when RM’s are out on meetings.
  8. Any additional items designated by Department Head from time to time.
