AVP, Business Support, CBAP-Lending Management Group

The successful candidate will join Lending Management Group – Business Support in the Corporate Banking Asia Pacific Division (CBAP), where they will collaborate closely with Relationship Managers within CBAP, providing essential administrative and client service support in transaction handling for corporate banking clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administrative & Business Support: Provide administrative and transactional support to Relationship Managers in servicing corporate banking clients.
  • Client Communication: Communicate daily on banking products and services, including preparing and disseminating indicative loan and fixed deposit rates, responding to customer inquiries, and coordinating with back-office departments on matters such as bank statement/advice, and audit request.
  • Transaction Monitoring & Processing:
    • Track and monitor funds related to loans, fixed deposits, trade transactions, remittances, and foreign exchange settlements.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of client instructions and transactions across corporate loans, fixed deposits, trade transactions, and remittances, including rate quoting, rate fixing, and break funding requests.
    • Manage transaction-related alerts flagged in the bank’s filtering system and escalated to the front office. Responsibilities include preparing transaction checklists, performing necessary checks, and obtaining approval from the compliance department.
    • Monitor transactions and activities in client accounts.
  • Risk & Compliance Management:
    • Manage the process of seeking management’s approval for transactional irregularities, exceptions, and waivers.
    • Coordinate with treasury, back-office departments, and other functional areas as necessary.
    • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, bank policies, guidelines, controls, and compliance standards.
  • Other Responsibilities: Perform any additional duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with banking experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in client servicing or operations within financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking products and services, including operational processes related to corporate loans, fixed deposits, trade transactions, and remittances.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, and highly organized.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
