AVP, Credit Documentation - SCSA

Job Responsibilities:

1. Documentation Review & Compliance

  • Review loan agreements and related documents against approved credit applications to ensure alignment of terms for SFDA and SPDA transactions.
  • Ensure all approved credit terms are accurately reflected in documentation prior to execution.
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies between documentation and approved credit terms.

2. Transaction Execution Control

  • Confirm fulfilment of documentation and conditions precedent before enabling facility signing and drawdown in the system.
  • Ensure all collateral requirements are obtained and satisfied prior to drawdown.
  • Support system status updates in line with transaction readiness.

3. Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with Front Office teams on documentation matters and resolve queries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate closely across stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution.

4. Risk & Governance

  • Maintain strong control over documentation accuracy and completeness to mitigate legal and operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit approvals and documentation standards.

5. Team Support & Development

  • Provide guidance and support to team members on documentation-related matters.
  • Share knowledge and best practices to enhance team capability.

6. Process Improvement & Efficiency

  • Participate in discussions and initiatives to improve processes and streamline workflows.
  • Drive timely completion and turnaround of transactions.

Job Requirement:

  • At least 10 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in credit documentation for structured finance or specialised products transactions.
  • Strong understanding of credit documentation, facility structures and banking products.
  • Working knowledge of core banking systems such as GBR and T24.
  • Strong risk awareness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, manage deviations, and ensure alignment with approved credit terms.
  • Good understanding of internal policies and regulatory requirements relating to credit documentation.
  • Proactive and solution‑oriented approach to resolving issues, able to escalate issues appropriately and drive timely resolution
  • Team player and demonstrated ability to work across all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work under time constraints and pressure.
