We are seeking a talented Domain Data Analyst who will bridge the gap between data analysis and business needs while ensuring the integrity and quality of our data.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  1. Data Analysis:
    • Proven experience in data analysis and delivery of a portfolio of data products (e.g, dashboards, reports, predictive models, data models).
    • Analyze and interpret complex domain-specific data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to design, build, and implement data products
    • Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
    • Prepare cleanse and validate data to ensure consistency, accuracy and reliability for analysis and reporting
    • Document system data flows, data model transformation and architecture, establish technical data dictionaries and access controls
  2. Business Analysis:
    • Collaborate with business units to comprehend their data needs and deliver solutions that address those requirements.
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements
    • Support project management tasks by providing data-related expertise and guidance.
  3. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with technology and business departments to ensure seamless data flow and access.
    • Provide training and support to team members on best practices and tools
    • Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Min 8 years of experience in data analysis with a focus within finance domain.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and data modelling techniques
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

 

 

Preferred Skills

 

  • Familiarity with product management methodologies and agile development practices is a plus.
  • Experience in Collibra is a plus
  • Understanding of data stewardship principles and data governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting & Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management, Capital / Profitability Management would be a plus.
  • Certifications such as CDMP is a plus.
