The Technology Governance & Control Team (TGCT) at SMBC Singapore is responsible for overseeing the governance and control of IT system development, IT service management, IT operations and support functions. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring that technology is developed, deployed, and managed responsibly, in line with global technology governance standards and best practices.
We are seeking a highly skilled ITIL Architect to play a pivotal role in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM). The ideal candidate will focus on the design and delivery of high-quality IT services that align with the organization's business needs while integrating best practices in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and access control.
Job Responsibilities
- Service Design:
- Develop and design IT services and asset management processes to meet business requirements while ensuring robust IAM practices.
- Consider cost, risk, compliance, and user experience in all designs.
- Service Strategy:
- Define and implement the overall strategy for optimizing and improving IT service and asset management, ensuring alignment with IAM initiatives and organizational security objectives.
- Work collaboratively with IAM teams to integrate access control requirements into the service design and strategy
- Service Transition & Change Management:
- Manage the transition of new or modified processes for IT services and asset management into operational phases, ensuring that changes reflect updated IAM protocols and access controls.
- Service Operation & Control:
- Oversee IT service and asset management operations, ensuring effective control over processes and procedures, with a particular focus on compliance with regulatory policies and requirements.
- Tool Management:
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of IT service and asset management tools, including automation solutions that enhance ITSM, ITAM and IAM processes, such as ServiceNow.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Foster collaboration between ITSM, ITAM, and IAM teams to ensure cohesive service delivery and robust security practices.
- Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance the integration of IAM with IT service management, promoting a secure and efficient IT environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and experience in IT service and asset management operations and processes.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and processes; ITIL certification is preferred.
- Experience with IT service and asset management tools, particularly ServiceNow.
- Experience in system design and development of such tools is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices with relevant certification is highly advantageous
- Strong technical and process knowledge in IT service management with a focus on compliance and risk management.
- Understanding of infrastructure, including cloud technologies, is advantageous.
