Primary Responsibilities

(These are the key work activities to achieve the position objective. Limit this section to essential responsibilities.)

  • Arranging – To support senior members of the team on arranging/lending activities including preparation of proposal, credit evaluation and preparation of credit application for new loans. Based on the credit approval, supporting in the documentation and all other tasks related to achieving financial close
  • Financial Advisory – To support senior members in the execution of project and acquisition financing advisory mandates, including preparation of financial models, risk and mitigants analysis, coordination of due diligence and preparation of information memoranda
  • Marketing / Strategy– To support senior members of the team on marketing programs / strategic initiatives with the view to developing a sustainable business and originating structured finance transactions, both advisory and arranging
  • Risk Management and Compliance – To adhere to SMBC’s compliance and risk management policies and to cultivate a strong culture of integrity and compliance with internal and external rules
