AVP, Technical & Business Capability

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Support the Faculty Lead in managing assigned technical and business capability portfolios, including program lifecycles, curriculum content, learning pathways and portfolio tracking.
    2. Conduct curriculum reviews and recommend enhancements based on business priorities, capability gaps, learner feedback, workforce trends and emerging skills requirements.
    3. Support capability planning by aligning programs with business needs, capability frameworks and future workforce priorities across Asia Pacific.
    4. Develop and support capability strategies, concept papers, business proposals, implementation plans and management updates for assigned portfolios.
    5. Partner with Faculty Leads, business stakeholders, subject matter experts and external learning providers to design, implement and continuously improve scalable learning solutions.
    6. Support AI literacy, digital productivity, future skills and technology-enabled learning initiatives by identifying practical opportunities to apply AI and digital tools.
    7. Maintain program governance, documentation, reporting, dashboards, analytics and portfolio performance tracking to support management oversight and decision-making.
    8. Drive operational excellence through process improvement, automation, data analysis and adoption of digital solutions.
    9. Coordinate program implementation, curriculum updates, vendor activities and stakeholder communications across multiple regional stakeholder groups.
    10. Design, curate and facilitate selected learning interventions where appropriate, including classroom, virtual, blended and digital learning formats.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

    1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
    2. At least 5 years of experience in capability development, learning and development, workforce development, learning solutions, programme management or related professional roles.
    3. Experience managing learning portfolios, capability initiatives, learning pathways, curriculum reviews or organisation-wide development programmes.
    4. Strong understanding of capability development principles, curriculum management, learning solution design and programme lifecycle management.
    5. Ability to translate business requirements, capability gaps and strategic priorities into practical learning and capability solutions.
    6. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
    7. Strong analytical thinking, data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, problem-solving and project execution capabilities.
    8. Strong written communication, business writing, presentation and facilitation skills.
    9. Digital fluency with Microsoft 365 and practical experience using AI-enabled productivity tools to improve work efficiency, learning outcomes or business processes.
    10. Ability to operate independently, demonstrate ownership and manage multiple initiatives with attention to detail and follow-through.
