Key Responsibilities

 

Governance Planning

  • Support the governance planning framework of the bank.
  • Regulatory compliance and alignment. Support coordination of initiatives with regulatory, compliance, data governance, or control implications
  • Policy framework & periodic review.
  • Risk governance & oversight.
  • BCP & Crisis Management readiness.

 

Project Governance & Coordination

  • Drive day-to-day project coordination to ensure tasks, milestones, and deliverables are completed within agreed timelines
  • Track project plans, dependencies, risks, and action items across multiple initiatives
  • Proactively follow up with stakeholders to unblock issues and maintain delivery momentum
  • Maintain structured project trackers, dashboards, and status reports

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a central coordination point across Business, IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Data teams, and external partners
  • Organize and manage meetings, working sessions, and workshops with a strong focus on outcomes and closure
  • Prepare clear agendas, Minutes of Meeting (MoMs), and action follow-ups to ensure accountability

 

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare, consolidate, and maintain high‑quality project documentation including plans, updates, presentations, and governance artefacts
  • Support preparation of concise management updates highlighting progress, risks, and next steps
  • Ensure accuracy, version control, and clarity in all project communications

 

Process Discipline & Continuous Improvement

  • Apply standardized templates, reporting formats, and coordination practices
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies, repeated delays, or coordination gaps and suggest practical improvements
  • Demonstrate multitasking ability while managing competing deadlines across multiple workstreams
  • Ensure documentation and decision making are traceable, structured, and audit ready.

 

 

 

 

Required Qualifications

 

Education

  • Post Graduate degree in Management, Finance, Commerce, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines
  • Graduate in Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
  • Project Management certification is preferable.

 

Experience

  • 8–10 years of overall experience, with minimum of 5 years in Governance or Risk or Control functional or Project Management role
  • Proven experience in managing multiple parallel initiatives and driving follow-ups to closure
  • Experience in handling regulatory / enhancement projects in in Bank.
  • Strong exposure to documentation, structured reporting, and stakeholder coordination
