Automation
- Lead end-to-end integration of HR systems - across core HR, payroll, absences, compliance, talent management, learning and recruitment platforms.
- Manage multi-phase implementation and migration projects, including planning, execution, testing, and post-go-live support, ensuring alignment with HR and business priorities.
- Design systems and processes with a scalable lens - anticipating future growth and automation opportunities.
- Conduct feasibility discussions, develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and design effective automation solutions.
- Secure approvals for automation projects, drive user adoption strategies, including stakeholder communication, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment of automation initiatives and feedback loops for impacted employee groups.
- Manage vendors and deliver project within timelines - both ability and experience are crucial
- Track and measure improvements and cost savings resulting from automation efforts.
- Ensure all HR tech implementations are compliant with internal policies, statutory and regulatory requirements, data privacy requirements (e.g., DPDP Act), and appropriate risk controls.
Process Re-engineering
- Work closely with HR COEs to analyze and harmonize HR processes in tune with overall system configurations.
- Lead and implement process optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design and manage smooth transition programs to facilitate seamless adoption of new processes.
- Measure and report on improvements and cost savings post-implementation.
Data Management
- Oversee secure data migration from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and consistency with organizational standards.
- Maintain centralized data inventory for a holistic view and comprehensive storage of data.
- Develop dashboards and reports to support informed decision-making and performance tracking.
Payroll Back Up
- Support payroll function by shadowing payroll processes to ensure continuity.
- Prepare payroll-related reports as required for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors as a back up to facilitate smooth payroll operations and resolve issues as they arise.
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge: HR Functional knowledge is required. Understanding of HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance, learning, etc. is a must.
- Skills:
- Strong project and program management skills preferred.
- Expertise in HRIS landscape design, data structures, and integrations is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and engage at all levels
- In-depth knowledge of leading HR systems preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in HR systems implementation and digital transformation, ideally in BFSI or consulting.
- Proven track record of leading technology programs during M&A or large-scale organizational changes.
- Familiarity with platforms such as SuccessFactors, Darwinbox, Workday, Zoho, Workline, Oracle HCM, or equivalent.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and consultants in high-pressure, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Qualification: Preferably an engineering graduate with specialization in HR or IT Systems from a Top tier institute.
