Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Operations & Administration:

Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise IT infrastructure, data center facilities, and server rooms.Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments, active directory, Linux virtual machines, VMware infrastructure, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), and backup solutions.Manage user accounts, permissions, system access rights, and security configurations.Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and service health to ensure optimal operation.Perform daily system checks, preventive maintenance, and infrastructure audits.Manage backups, disaster recovery processes, and system recovery procedures.

Virtualization & End-User Computing:

Administer VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, vCenter, cluster environments, and virtual machine lifecycle management.Manage VMware Horizon View VDI environments, thin clients, and virtual desktop infrastructure.Execute host migrations, system upgrades, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.Ensure virtualization platforms remain secure, stable, and aligned with organizational standards. 

Incident Management & Technical Support:

Provide Level-3 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues, hardware failures, network connectivity issues, and application-related infrastructure problems.Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and system integrators for issue resolution and support activities.Analyze system logs, reports, and monitoring tools to identify and proactively address operational risks. 

Security & Compliance:

Develop, implement, and maintain infrastructure security standards, policies, procedures, and tools.Ensure operating systems, servers, and infrastructure components are patched and updated with the latest security releases.Perform vulnerability remediation and security hardening activities.Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with corporate security policies and regulatory standards 

Project Management:

Manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.Participate in infrastructure planning, design reviews, capacity forecasting, and technology refresh programs.Coordinate implementation, testing, migration, and production rollouts of infrastructure solutions.Ensure smooth handover of project deliverables into BAU support teams. 

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain IT operational procedures, administration manuals, configuration records, and technical documentation.Prepare regular reports on infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, incident trends, and project status.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational runbooks. 

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure administration and support. Proven experience managing large-scale virtualized environments and enterprise server infrastructure.Experience in financial services, banking, or regulated industries will be an advantage.
