Job Responsibilities
- Drafting/Verification of loan & security documents in line with credit approved conditions.
- Negotiation of documents with clients.
- Obtain management/internal approvals for deviations in standard loan and security documents.
- Coordinating with client/external legal counsel/Security Trustee & internal stakeholders (mainly with Legal & Credit Admin. Team) in finalizing execution version of documents in line with approved Term Sheet. Understanding of consortium & security trustee arrangement is must.
- Verifying the executed loan and security documents.
- Co-ordinate with Credit Admin. team to ensure limit updation.
- Ensure closure of document deferrals & security perfection within allotted time.
- Obtaining Acknowledgement of Debt & various Credit Monitoring docs. viz. stock statement, insurance, stock audit report, end use certificate, due diligence report etc. in a timely manner.
- Ensuring renewal of credit facilities & security support docs. viz. Corporate Guarantees, SBLCs etc. before due date.
- Assist in data requirements for RBI inspection / statutory audit / internal audit.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Knowledge of credit administration & monitoring function for corporate banking clients. Documentation knowledge of MNC clients is preferable.
- Good communication skill (verbal & written).
- Good team player.
- Experience in handling project finance documents.
- Experience of independently negotiating documents with clients.
- Awareness of Regulatory requirements for Lending transactions.
- Experience in handling stressed assets/cases is preferable.
- Around 8-10 years of experience in same or related role.
- LLB (General) preferable, else CA/CS/MBA
