  • Manage a number of Operations projects- both Technology automation as well as other projects through the full project life cycle from the strategic project planning, execution and on to the tactical activities
  • Co-ordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Engage with business and Product teams to formulate problems and create solution framework
  • Ensure projects are well defined, aligned to business goals, well documented and appropriately reported.
  • Ensure all risks and issues are understood, raised, prioritized and escalated with sufficient time to enable resolution.
  • Involved in defining the business requirements, management of ongoing work with technology during the build phase to ensure timely delivery and prioritization.
  • User Acceptance testing of new developments before their implementation.
  • Training of users on new applications and processes
  • Support OPIN in meeting budgets through Analytical Insights, Support stakeholders in business reviews
  • Development of Operational procedures for new products and services launched for Operations users
  • Manage timelines, anticipate roadblocks and proactively provide solutions that deliver high quality and timely results.
  • Understand the product/ops journey and help business to improve the customer experience
  • Providing regular project updates to Dept Head and preparing dashboards for management on ongoing projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as Head Office guidelines.
  • Establishing a strong risk management culture in the team.
  • Other work allocated by the management from time to time

 

Knowledge (b) Skills (c) Experience (d) Qualifications

  • Qualified CA/MBA with 9-10+ years of experience in handling implementation of Corporate Banking Operations projects
  • Experience defining businesss requirements and managing and executing testing activities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the personal ability to collaborate, operate and communicate effectively with a culturally diverse group of peers and colleagues.
  • Develops strong relationships and personal credibility with Operations users and understand how their needs/requirements can be incorporated into the delivery of the solution
  • Individual should have the resilience to handle internal pressures and conflicts in dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high pressure environment
  • Quality conscious and having flair for constant process improvement
  • Candidates with PMP certification will be preferred
