Section 2:Background:

·       The candidate should have execution capabilities to support SPDA’s 3 business verticals - Real Estate, Structured Credit and Sponsor Financing   

·       The candidate is expected to assist in execution of transactions and contribute to the annual budgets set for the team.

·       The candidate will interact with internal stakeholders including team in Singapore/ India, treasury teams, credit department, planning department etc.

·       The candidate is expected to interact with external stakeholders including client teams, law firm associates, 3rd party consultants/advisors and industry experts.

 

SSection 3: Reporting and Position in the organisation

TThis position is at AVP level reporting to ED within the SPDA chain. The candidate will closely work with deal team principals – in India or Singapore (VP/Director/EDs) to execute the transactions

 

sSection 4:Scope and Dimension

 

·       Geographical/Functional coverage: India 

·       Main interfaces/relationships, key stakeholders: Clients, Credit, deal team members, 3rd party advisors, Law firms amongst others

·       At one given time, the candidate is expected to manage 4-6 transactions at various stages of origination/execution. 

 

JSection 5: Job responsibilities:

 

The job responsibilities will entail:

·       Autonomously lead and manage deal teams assigned to handle transactions’ full execution cycle, including:

o   Review and preliminary assessment of new financing opportunities

o   Deal structuring and preparation of term sheets

o   Conduct of due diligence / financial modelling

o   Assist execution team in running internal credit process including preparation or review of internal discussion papers, credit applications, Q&A etc

o   Assist execution team in negotiating and reviewing loan documentations

o   Coordinate KYC and internal ancillary processes

·       Running internal grading and pricing simulations

·       Preparation of deal memos for seeking internal management sign-off.

·       All aspects of administration & execution of transactions until drawdown

·       Engage in designing and establishing new product initiatives as needed 

·       Ensure and promote a disciplined approach to all internal compliance requirements and applicable local regulations

·       Support other strategic initiatives and perform other tasks as required/defined from time to time
