- Assists Section Head-Business Analyst in developing tactical and strategic application, services and/or programs to support the respective business unit's goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share, etc.).
- Works closely with various business partners (departments) to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or program business processes.
- Consults with departments and offshore teams to determine business, functional and technical requirements for specified applications.
- Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- Coordinates the development of all approved versions of business and functional specifications for specified applications. Reviews use cases and other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents.
- Work in close collaboration with users to ensure adequate test scripts have been built and then assist them in UAT.
- Analyzes the business unit's activities and trends and compares analyses against the service standards and best practices. Presents findings and work with the Section Head and other personnel to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals.
- Develops effective reporting tools for the business unit. Prepares project status reports and other routine reports (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, etc.) to be presented in various platforms. Assesses and prepares to address the operational impacts, workflow, training, etc. issues of a project.
- Creates and maintains project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions, and resolving conflicts. This includes documenting, prioritizing and tracking requests (changes, enhancements, etc.) and coordinating the change requests.
Key Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 6-8 years of work experience as Project Manager / Business Analyst in Banking sector.
- Possess hands-on experience in supporting Workflow and Automation systems.
- Experience in Enterprise Application support environment with interaction to multiple function (developer, infrastructure and service desk) and business users.Experience in CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery), Jenkins, Service Now or any other related tools for deployment and change / incident tracking.
Preferred Certifications
- CSM, PMP is preferred , not mandatory
