Provide credit middle control and administrative support to business units/relationship managers

Job Responsibilities

  • checking of credit applications on compliance with regulator/head office/internal rules and regulations.
  • reviewing terms and conditions in facility letters and loan/security agreements to ensure compliance with approved credit applications and conditions imposed by Credit Department/Head Office.
  • ensuring loan documentation/collection is complete and conditions complied with before proceeding with facility limit and/or collateral registration.
  • monitoring progress of credit applications, collateral conditions and any irregular conditions imposed by credit department
  • preparing regulator/head office/internal reports.
  • coordinating with internal/external auditors to facilitate audits & address compliance-related matters and/or with various internal stakeholders to resolve daily issues.
  • assisting team lead/group head /management in ad-hoc/periodic data collections, projects, transformation, intiatives etc.
  • identifying areas for process/speed optimization, efficiency/accuracy enhancement, cost reduction and implement measures to improve workflows, streamline processes & enhance productivity.
  • focusing on adequate risk & controls culture and management, regulatory & compliance controls are well understood and gaps if any, clearly recognized and risk evaluated
  • contributing at building robust & deployable operations resiliency plans in line with head office policies, procedures & regulatory guidelines.
  • transforming and enhancing overall quality of the customer & control deliveries

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Banking and Finance or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experiences 
  • Good understanding of bilateral/syndicated loan agreements according to prevailing market standards
  • Diligent, organized and meticulous with keen eye for details
  • Open mindset with willingness to learn and is highly receiptive to every transformational changes
  • Both a strong team player and active independent contributor
  • Strong interpersonal, commuication and leadership skills
