Job Responsibilities
- To contribute to the department strategy through product development (including onboarding of new platform to the bank).
- To execute the global strategy of the department to promote and develop the bank’s Trade Finance business by combining solutions from Transaction Banking, digitalization, supply chain finance, structured trade and commodity finance in conjunction with branches/offices in the region.
- To maintain the highest level of compliance and to meet the regulatory requirements in various countries of GTFD’s operation.
- To identify and explore the market development in the Trade Finance field, and contribute to bring in new products to be more competitive and value add in the market.
- To guide and develop the department staff for further expansion and development of the Trade Finance platform in the region.
- Work with Third Party Multi-Banking Platform provider(s) to explore and develop the collaboration to deliver the integrated solutions within project timeline to match client expectations.
- Work alongside a project team which consist of developers and quality assurance engineers based in APAC region.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders request and prioritize requirements based on business needs.
- Analyze user journey and user experience of our customers.
Job Requirements
- Experience on establishment and enhancement of business planning and product development in digital, FinTech area.
- Good functional experience in both Conventional and Open Account Trade Finance products.
- Basic knowledge of FinTech and Digital in Financial and Trade market.
- Oversee and manage digital product roadmap by aligning with business goals.
- Preparation of new product requirement documents.
- Act as a bridge between the Technology Teams and Business Teams to gather and analyze functional / non-functional requirements and contribute on the solutioning including re-engineering of existing processes.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, issue, conduct and compliance matters.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (“UAT”) for ensuring quality assurance on the new product development.
- Hands-on experience in delivering digital product from ideation to end-product.
- Manage timeline, priority and delivery of new products.
- Develop project plan and track the project implementation timeline with Third Party Multi-Banking Platform provider(s) to complete all the required tasks to deliver the expected integrated solutions with quality and within project schedule.
- Regular project status reports to the key stakeholders and the reporting manager.
- Increase customer adoption of the bank’s digital capabilities through driving improvement in digital capabilities and educating sales teams on the bank’s latest digital capabilities and market developments.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders across multicultural and cross-country teams.
- Strong customer centric mindset.
- Strong innovative mindset to bring in new products and new value / edge / capability to the bank.
- Strong forward looking mindsets, and excellent skills to work based on market situation and banks strategy.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio Access, Data Analysis Tools and other leading Digital Tools.
- Familiarity with payments messages such as ISO20022 (MX).
- Digital Project Management experience is an added advantage.
