Job Summary
To assist the Senior Relationship Manager of BP2 in the day to day business related administrative support functions to meet business objectives and targets as below:
1. Building and strengthening the working relationships with existing and new client.
2. Cross sell Bank’s Transaction Banking products and services in order to broaden returns and sustain profitability growth of the Bank.
3. Learn to promote new products and services offered by SMBC.
4. Perform KYC and CCRIS checks to ensure all regulatory & compliance matter are met on timely.
5. Work closely with other departments/unit to improve more effective and smooth operations.
6. Help to ensure all credit related matters of the Client are met through direct and indirect engagement with the Client.
Job Description
1. Actively support the Senior RM in performing marketing activities to develop new clients and enhance existing clients’ relationship.
2. To assist in the marketing initiatives and activities to penetrate across the Client’s key group companies to diversify risk and concentration.
3. Support Senior RMs in the structuring of term sheet for new financing proposal for discussion and negotiation.
4. Assist in the Cross-sell of different SMBC products namely Project Finance, Trade Finance, Cash Management, Treasury, Deposits, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives etc to diversify and enhance earnings.
5. Assist to analyse request (applications, waivers, breaches, etc) and provide recommendation and solution/ alternatives from business continuation/ customer relationship management perspective in consultation with Senior Relationship Manager or Head of Department.
6. Attending to and responsible for KYC (on-boarding & annual review), including liaising & obtaining/ dealing with the necessary documents from customers, Client Services dept and Compliance dept.
7. To perform maker/checker role for data accuracy in CCRIS system.
Job Requirement
1. Preferably with AICB related qualifications, if any.
2. Degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related discipline.
3. Preferably with minimum 5 years of banking related experience in corporate banking. activities including financing, project finance, marketing, credit analysis or related areas.
4. Fresh graduate with exemplary academic achievement is also encourage to apply.
