Analyst/Senior Analyst, Corporate Advisory Department

Responsibilities

• Support business/financial intelligence for sector-focused unit (1. Telecom, Media & Technology/Automobile & Industries, 2.Basic Materials Infrastructure and 3. Consumer Products & Retail, Heathcare & Foods) and occasionally co-work with SMBC HQ in Japan
• Develop pitch papers in relation to investment banking products including M&A, alliance
• Partner seniors to visit customers and other relevant organizations in APAC for deal origination
• Contribute to the sector unit and the department to achieve team budget target and KPIs

Requirements

• Minimum degree qualification
• Knowledge of Corporate Finance and M&A will be advantageous
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong command of English and Japanese is preferred due to nature of job role which requires liaising with Tokyo Head Office
