- Ensure timely and compliant evaluation of Credit Proposal, support RM to conduct PEM, co-ordination with the proposal sanctioning authorities locally / regionally and in line with the various policies of the Bank.
- Understand customer need, then support RM for various possible options from the credit portfolio of products and services.
- Prepare credit application/credit grading/credit monitoring/self-assessment / credit ratings / renewals for assigned clients.
- Establish business relationship with new clients acceptable to the SMBC as well expand the relationship with existing customers in the assigned region and industry segment.
- Ensure timely reporting and MIS submission.
- For all customers / potential customers;
- Ensure timely information sharing on Industry / Clients, any other information with RM / relevant colleagues (locally/ globally)
- Abide with the frequency of credit monitoring / trigger monitoring as per policy of the bank as well as decided from time to time by your Supervisor(s)
- Monitor and control covenants, loan agreement lodging etc.
- Support in closing transactions including circulating instructions sheets, collection of documents and follow up with other teams specifically when RM’s are out on meetings.
- Any additional items designated by Department Head from time to time.
