- Support the bank’s AI governance and review activities by coordinating AI use case reviews, consolidating risk assessments from relevant control functions, and operating AI-related governance forums.
- The role focuses on execution, coordination, and documentation, serving as a central point of contact for AI use case intake, review tracking, and committee administration within the APAC Risk Management framework.
Job Responsibilities
AI Use Case Review Coordination
- Act as the central coordinator for AI use case review requests submitted by business or technology teams.
- Identify relevant review stakeholders (e.g. model risk, technology risk, data privacy, information security, compliance) and formally request risk assessments from each function.
- Track review progress, follow up on outstanding items, and consolidate inputs into a structured summary for management and committees.
- Maintain standardized documentation and evidence for each AI use case, in line with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
- Support the preparation of AI review materials, summaries, and status reports.
AI Risk Committee and Governance Support
- Serve as secretariat for the AI Risk Committee and related AI governance forums.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, and material distribution.
- Prepare meeting minutes, action items, and decision logs, and track follow-up actions to completion.
- Support ongoing improvements to AI governance processes, templates, and workflows.
AI Use Case Inventory Management
- Maintain and regularly update the bank’s AI use case inventory, including status, risk classification, review outcomes, and approval conditions.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of AI-related records across departments.
- Support periodic reporting on AI usage, review status, and governance metrics for management and regulators.
Stakeholder and Regulatory Support
- Act as a point of contact between business, technology, and control functions on AI governance matters.
- Support senior colleagues in responding to internal audit, regulatory, or Head Office queries related to AI risk management.
- Assist in monitoring regulatory and internal policy developments related to AI, and reflect changes in internal documentation where required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data science, engineering, business, risk management, or a quantitative field.
- Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in risk management, governance, compliance, technology risk, data governance, or related functions within financial services.
- Basic understanding of AI / data / technology risk concepts; deep technical expertise is not mandatory, but strong interest in AI and willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with regulatory or governance environments (e.g. MAS, PDPA, internal policies) is preferred.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with attention to detail and documentation quality.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with multiple stakeholders across functions.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks, follow-ups, and deadlines in a structured manner.
- Proficiency in English; ability to work in a multicultural APAC environment.
