Job Responsibilities
• To be involved in business plan, long-term business structure, risk management, business alliance, new products, etc.
• To communicate with other departments in Singapore / Tokyo Head Office of the Bank / Group companies including securities footprint.
• To handle ad-hoc request from the management and related departments.
• To formulate Bank-Securities collaboration initiative and Risk Appetite Framework.
• To plan and promote wealth management business in APAC area by developing new product in Securities related business
Job Requirements
• Degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Securities business within the securities or / and banking industry required
• Candidate with at least 2 years working experience using Japanese language in business setting is highly preferred as this role needs to prepare reports in Japanese and to communicate regularly with Tokyo Head Office
• Candidates with working experience in Japanese companies is preferred but not essential as familiarity with the Japanese business customs is required to effectively communicate with senior management and stakeholders.
• Team player, as the applicant will be supporting senior staff members in various departments and/or areas of work, the applicant needs to work well with others to promote a cooperative and positive working environment.
• Good written/oral communication skills to coordinate among departments with different or conflicting interests.
• Strong leadership for work in hand, as the applicant will be stationed in multiple departments.
