Purpose of the job: 

To conduct new and renewal credit application with assessing customers' financial health and repayment capacity. This includes ratio analysis, and get approval financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and cash flow projection. The role involves identifying and mitigating risks, understanding accounting principles, security management, and covenant control. The analyst will monitor and alert Relationship Managers about potential crises, coordinate credit transactions, and balance risk with credit requests. Proficiency in English and the ability to work under pressure with accuracy and timeliness are essential. 

 

Responsibility  

 

  • Handling around 50-60 accounts 
  • Conduct credit review and monitoring application for both existing and new customers. 
  • Analyze financial structure and risk management of the business performance in accordance with the rules and regulations. 
  • Gather the necessary support data for credit analysis to identify ability to pay of the customer including the risk concern and how to mitigate it before emerging. 
  • Monitor and alert RM, if there is any crisis impact to customer's business or debt repayment capacity.
  • To coordinate and work with RMs to balance between risk caution and RM's credit request to establish structure deals and avoid or mitigate risk. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in credit analysis or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry. 
  • Skills
    • Advanced credit analysis skill; ratio analysis, financial statement analysis, risk assessment, cash flow analysis and knowledge of cash flow projection. 
    • Proficiency in accounting principles and financial techniques. 
    • Strong understanding of all credit products, security management and covenant control. 
    • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. 
    • Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy, and meet deadline.
