Job Summary

Responsible for driving Treasury Corporate Sales activities, providing FX, money market, and derivative solutions to corporate and financial institution clients. The role focuses on client engagement, hedging advisory, cross-selling treasury products, and collaborating with internal and regional stakeholders to grow treasury business and deliver value-added financial solutions.

Job Description

  1. Quote and conclude deals (FX-Spot, Forward, Option, Money Market and Derivatives) for local corporate and Fl clients. When necessary, to support Japanese Sales from time to time.
  2. Conduct marketing activities ie. Market Update with economist, meeting with clients for hedging advisory / treasury solutions to clients.
  3. Coordinate and collaborate with product partners and when applicable, other SMBC branches, to cross sell bank's products.
  4. To participate in projects or initiatives implemented by SMBC MY.
  5. Provide treasury input for Treasury related docs and presentation for Relationship Managers and product partners to present to clients.
  6. Initiatives to improve corporates and Fl flow business.

 

Job Requirement

  1. A minimum of 10 years in Global Markets/Treasury with PKMC.
  2. Good understanding of foreign exchange and basic derivative products i.e. Interest Rate Swaps, and Cross Currency Swaps. Added advantage: good understanding of various financing structures with Treasury solutions potential.
  3. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  4. Ability to multitask between dealing markets and handling daily operational tasks.
  5. Goal-driven, highly adaptable to fast paced and stressful environment.
