Director, New Energies, Structured Finance Dept Asia Pacific

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

• Deal origination:
  • Responsibility for allocated revenue budget under the team
  • Maintain close relationship with clients
  • Prepare financial proposals including term sheets and/or presentations
  • Identity and monitor market developments and opportunities
  • Liaise with various internal, external stakeholders (banks, advisors, legal firms etc.) and clients as necessary
• Deal execution:
  • Preparation of credit paper
  • Assist in documentation with support from internal and external legal counsel
  • Build, review & run sensitivities on financial model/cash flow
  • Oversee completion of all aspects of loan administration and execution until drawdown

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree;
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• At least 10-12 years of relevant work experience, preferably in project / structured finance
• Work experience should ideally be across energy sector and any deal experience/pitching experience in New Energy verticals stated above will be advantageous.
• Good understanding of loan documentation
• Good transaction structuring skills and understanding of credit process
• Financial modelling skills
• Ability to work independently on jobs assigned
• Positive personality with strong work ethics
• Independent, self-motivated and strong team player with ability to work in multicultural team
