Director, Project Manager (Change Management), HCM - 24 months Fixed Term Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, baseline and maintain the integrated workstream plan, defining scope, milestones, deliverables, resources, dependencies and critical paths.
  • Drive day-to-day execution, monitor progress and quality, resolve delivery obstacles and implement recovery actions where required.
  • Own governance, status reporting, forecasts, actions, decisions and the management and escalation of risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
  • Coordinate internal teams, subject matter experts, technology partners, vendors and consulting resources, ensuring clear ownership and timely approvals.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations globally and facilitate planning, requirements, decision-making and governance forums.
  • Identify and track key change impacts and activities, liaising with stakeholders to determine proportionate interventions.
  • Oversee communication, engagement and training plans, together with readiness and adoption measures.
  • Coordinate requirements and dependencies for HR Knowledge and AI solutions across HR, technology, data, risk and control teams.
  • Plan change activities for the new HR Operating Model, including role clarity, service transition and business readiness.
  • Support deployment, cutover, stabilisation and transition to business-as-usual operations against agreed acceptance criteria.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification with 7 - 10 years of relevant professional working experience;recognised project management certification is desirable.
  • Significant project management experience delivering large-scale, multi-workstream transformation programmes in complex global organisations.
  • Demonstrated capability in planning, scheduling, resource coordination, deliverables management, governance, reporting and RAID control.
  • Working knowledge of change management, including impact assessment, engagement, communications, training, readiness and adoption.
  • Strong global stakeholder management, facilitation, influencing and communication skills.
  • Experience gathering and managing business requirements across business, technology and third parties.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across time zones.
  • Experience of global HR transformation, HR operating-model implementation or HR technology programmes is desirable.
  • Exposure to HR knowledge management, digital employee services or AI-enabled solutions is advantageous.
  • Experience within banking, financial services or another regulated environment is desirable.
