Director, Relationship Manager - Private Wealth

Responsibilities:

Achieve Sales KPI.

Provide banking products/services for HNWI (Non-Japanese and Japanese) in Asia in collaboration with RM of SMBC Nikko securities.

Carry out operational work incidental to sales activities (on-boarding activities including KYC, account reviews, executing banking requests) with the help of ARMs.

Work closely with team members, several departments (Deposit, Remittance, Treasury etc) in Singapore and external partner on operational work of banking transactions.

Act as liaison with Japanese clients and counterpart in Japan headquarter.

Comply and adhere to regulatory, compliance and internal policies, including responses to transaction monitoring alerts.

Provide support on any other duties assigned.
Job Requirements:

Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related disciplines.

Fluent in Japanese language would be advantageous as the role requires to make presentations and communicate with clients in Japanese

Minimum 5 years and above of relevant experience in the Banking environment, preferably, Private Banking.

Able to pass CACS 1 and 2 within 3 months post joining.

Able to perform accurate, precise and timely mannered operations.

Excellent understanding and knowledge in Banking and Investment products.

Strong team player with high level of initiative with sustainable and continuous desire and efforts to tackle and break through difficult tasks in order to establish client base.

Excellent communication skills with a pleasing personality.

Strong client servicing skill and ability to deal with complex issues.
