Job Responsibilities:
- Deal Origination and Client Coverage

- Senior member of the team in front-to-end execution of project finance transactions
- Develop and maintain close relationship with key clients in Metals and Mining Industry
- Lead pitch efforts and prepare tailored client proposals including term sheets and/or presentations
- Identity and monitor market developments for new opportunities and investor sentiment across core markets
- Identify and generate cross-sell opportunities to increase deal-based ROE and contribute to broader client account ROE
- Demonstrates solid understanding associated legal and regulatory framework governing Metals and Mining Industries, proactively identifying risks and opportunities
- Deal Execution

- Structure, negotiate, and execute complex and strategic project finance transactions, working together with internal stakeholders (Credit risk, legal and compliance)
- Build, review & run sensitivities on financial model/cash flow to assess feasibility and profitability of projects
- Ensure transactions comply with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Thought Leadership
- Coordination with internal stakeholders in risk analysis and setting of rules related to new business development when required and support senior management’s directions
- Managing execution team in mandate process and managing client expectations (including troubleshooting) throughout deal execution phase and conduct post-closing deal reviews
- Lead internal initiatives to enhance product capabilities and deal execution standards.
- Mentor and develop junior team members and analysts, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 12-15 years of direct experience in financing, with a strong preference for project or structured finance within the Metals & Mining or commodities sectors.
- Proven track record across the resource energy sector, with additional exposure to mining and metals transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and effectively
- Good transaction structuring skills and understanding of credit process and familiarity with loan documentation
- Proficient in financial modelling
- Driven personality with the highest level of personal and professional integrity and work ethics
- Independent, self-motivated and collaborative team player with ability to work in multicultural team
