Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute IT infrastructure strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Lead infrastructure projects ensuring timely delivery, within scope and budget.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to infrastructure teams, driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Infrastructure Management
- Oversee design, implementation, and management of network systems, servers, storage, and cloud environments ensuring security and scalability.
- Ensure availability, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure to meet business demands and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Manage change management processes and conduct IT risk assessments.
Performance Optimization
- Regularly assess existing infrastructure for improvements, cost reductions, and performance enhancement.
- Collaborate with business units to align infrastructure services with evolving needs.
- Optimize resource usage to minimize operational costs.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service providers meet performance standards.
- Act as key contact for internal stakeholders to ensure infrastructure services meet business requirements.
Team Development and Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing infrastructure team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment encouraging professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. MCSE, Cisco, VCP, CISSP, ITIL Foundation, PMP, or equivalent project management) are preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT enterprise infrastructure, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (servers, networking, storage, virtualization and database).
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale IT operations, projects, vendors and IT risk.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of IT governance, security, compliance and budget management.
