Job Responsibilities
1. Business Development of SFDA and Sector Banking Asia:
- Support senior leadership of Structured Finance Asia (“SFA”) to identify growth opportunities across the region
- Support Chair of Sector Banking in coordinating key initiatives, from account planning, marketing campaigns to tool development for tracking results.
- Ensure effective collaboration with relevant stakeholders in India, APD and EAD.
- Design and execute initiatives that align with broader business strategies and growth objectives
- Track and monitor action plans and account strategies in close coordination with coverage teams to ensure alignment and accountability
2. Operational Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within SFDA—including PLG, CPM, BCG, and Compliance—to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness for SFA.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and optimize operational workflows.
3. Financial Performance
- Partner with PLG and business heads to monitor and evaluate the financial performance of SFA, ensuring long-term profitability and sustainability.
- Lead the development and management of budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting processes related to the SFA business.
4. Risk Management
- Design and uphold comprehensive risk management frameworks to proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks within the structured finance domain.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies governing SFDA operations in Singapore.
5. Team Leadership & Human Resource Management
- Support the Head of SFA in building and leading a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
- Champion diversity and inclusion to attract and retain top-tier talent.
- Actively manage personal expenses and workforce headcount, including strategic hiring to strengthen business capabilities
6. Business Promotion & Market Visibility
- Plan and manage industry events and sponsorships to elevate SFA’s market presence.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications to cultivate media relationships and engage with key publications and journalists.
- Co-develop high-quality content for platforms such as LinkedIn, industry summits, and press releases to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Job Requirements
- 15 years of business management experience in international banks, preferably based in Singapore
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field;
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional initiatives and driving strategic execution.
- Highly analytical, with expertise in business reporting, performance management tools, and executive presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Driven professional with high level of personal and professional integrity and work ethics
- Independent, self-motivated and collaborative team player with ability to work in multicultural team
