Job Purpose

Head of Planning Group, Global Transaction Banking Department APAC is responsible for develop and execute department strategies, ensure effective governance and compliance to corporate policies and regulations and manage Department performance by closely working with department GM

Job Responsibilities
•    Work with Head of Transaction Banking Business Department APAC to develop and execute department strategies
•    Ensure effective governance, and compliance to corporate policies and regulations
•    Manage Department performance which consists of Transaction banking Profit, department Expense and other Key Performance Indicator.
•    Managing Internal Control matters as Main Compliance PIC ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, risk management policies and corporate governance standards
•    Strong follow-through on any project issues, working through to resolve issues with internal and stakeholders where necessary
•    Working closely with the respective heads of Transactional Banking Business Department across APAC countries to drive regional business objectives 
•    Collaborate with Head Office, Division planning department or front office departments to conceptualise appropriate strategic initiatives.
 
Job Requirements
•    Strong working experience in customer sales, banking operations and systems
•    At least 10 years’ of working experience in Transaction Banking is essential
•    Analytical and creative in problem solving
•    Proficiency in English and excellent proficiency in Japanese is strong advantageous as this role needs to liaise with Head Office
•    Ability to spearhead projects/initiatives while working with various internal stakeholders.
•    Strong communication skills, proactive, team player, good inter-personal skills
