Drive enterprise-wide risk management in BKK
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Enterprise Risk Management Department (ERMD), ensuring stable operations and driving the continued enhancement of enterprise risk management capabilities across the branch.
- Drive enterprise-wide risk management practices, including Risk Appetite Framework (RAF), Top Risk management, risk aggregation, and oversight of emerging risks such as AI risk, model risk, and data governance.
- Oversee ICAAP and capital and stress testing frameworks, ensuring robustness and alignment with regulatory and internal expectations.
- Lead risk governance and internal control oversight, including the Branch Risk Management Committee and internal inspection activities, ensuring effective escalation and resolution of material risk issues.
- Act as the central point of contact for enterprise risk matters, liaising with regional hub functions, Head Office, regulators, and external stakeholders, while supporting Corporate Secretary functions including management reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in banking or financial services, with strong exposure to enterprise risk management or integrated risk oversight.
- Solid experience across multiple risk disciplines (credit, market, and/or operational risk) with a strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks.
- Good knowledge of regulatory requirements, including risk appetite frameworks, ICAAP, and governance standards in a banking environment.
- Familiarity with emerging risk areas such as AI risk, model risk management, and data governance is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with high integrity and the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
- Native-level proficiency in Thai and strong command of English.
