- Management and operations of IT Infrastructure across SMBC locations in India.
- Manage, prioritize and execute concurrent mission-critical infrastructure deployment initiatives.
- Single point of contact for IT Infrastructure projects. Stakeholder management, vendor management and liaison among Internal and external delivery teams.
- Set up and management of Service Desk operations, delivery of IT services as per defined KPIs, stability & availability of all IT systems.
- Management of Primary and DR Data Centre to ensure continuity of business-critical systems and applications.
- Responsible for managing large-scale server and data centre related initiatives
- Plan DR drills as per compliance requirements.
- Compliances: Leading and managing regulatory, compliance and business continuity related incidents, events, and reporting.
- Manage prioritization for resource and budget demands and adapt to changing priorities.
- Financial management: Management and control of IT budget to ensure new business initiatives, delivery and continuity of IT Services.
- Reporting: Preparing & providing IT reports (financial, production, Incident, operational efficiency, Regulatory compliances, etc. in a timely manner
- Review project deliverables and deadlines periodically with project team and provide regular reports to Head of IT and senior management.
- Proactive capacity planning & building/ augmentation
- Participates in design and implementation of IT Service Management Standard, tools and methodologies.
- Liaison with RBI / Regulatory Authorities on IT Infrastructure and Operation related matters.
- Defines project scope and objectives, creates and maintains project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project product/service lifecycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions, and resolving conflicts. This includes documenting, prioritizing and tracking requests (changes, enhancements, etc.) and coordinating the change requests.
- Responsible for governance and management of third-party suppliers & contracts.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Qualification
- B.E./ B.Tech. Computer Sciences or equivalent
- ITIL certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
Working Experience
- 15-20 years of IT and IT infrastructure experience
- Proven ability to lead Technology Service delivery / IT Operations / Data Centre Management.
- Ability to deliver Large and complex technical projects and initiatives, including Cloud
- Leading large multi-cultural teams
- Process Documentation
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and oversight.
- Prior experience interfacing and working with senior management i.e. CTO, CIO, Executives, LOB Heads, Functional Managers.
- Experience in enterprise grade data centre design and layout with specific experience in large Internet operations environments, banking, business continuity providers, or financial institutions
- Proven track record in process and procedure development and execution.

- ISACA-CISM, ITIL Framework.
