Job Responsibilties:
Business Promotion
a. Generates profit for the bank by developing business opportunities with new and existing customers by understanding their business to offer the best service that will address their financial needs.
b. Ensures customer satisfaction and fosters good and long-term relationships with customers by establishing rapport, maintaining constant communication through client visits, phone calls and email communication.
c. Prepares and renew credit application of customers; ensures the creditworthiness of the customers by performing comprehensive credit evaluation and risk analysis, periodic credit review and self-assessment on existing and new customers.
d. Ensures compliance with the laws, procedures, policies, and standards of the Bank and of the local regulatory bodies.
e. Ensure completeness and accuracy of customer's requirements by gathering and validating pertinent customer information, performing thorough examination in all submitted documents and updating the customer's records whenever necessary.
f. Provides efficient support to the Head of Department and coordinates with other departments to deliver the best service to the customers.
Account Management
a. Also mainly responsible for the preparation, initial documentation and execution of required documents for approved facilities (i.e. Facility Letters, Renewal Notices, Amendments, etc.) Key duties also include loading and recording of pre-signing and post-signing requirements and documents in the GBR via Control Card.
b. Responsible in the preparation and execution of required legal documentation for approved credit facilities through close coordination with Business Promotion Officers and relevant units of the Bank (i.e. Legal Onshore, Legal Offshore, Credit Risk Unit, Loan Syndications, etc).
c. Ensures the proper and orderly safekeeping and turnover of all important documents (hard and soft copies) including but not limited to corporate disclosures, financial statements, covenants compliance certificates, letters, notices from facility agents, and internal memos and approval forms such as UI Check Sheets, Funded Asset Applications, Cross-Booking Transactions or BOFO memos, etc.
d. Maintains good working knowledge of the bank’s deposit and loan monitoring systems (i.e. T24)
Credit Evaluation
a. Assesses creditworthiness by conducting thorough and in-depth credit assessment of new and existing borrowing customers by performing financial spreading, projecting, modeling and analyzing of financial statements. Activities include: examining deals by identifying the deal background, deal purpose, deal comparison, sources and uses of funds, deal economics and borrower’s repayment capability by conducting ratio, trend and cash flow analyses.
b. Conducts annual monitoring and/or ad hoc monitoring (as required by extraordinary developments) including change of condition requests and facility renewals in coordination with Business Promotion Officers. Activities include processing/updating of corporate information in GBR including business operations, market data and industry information, ownership and group structure, competitive position, etc.
General and Common Responsibilities
a. Must have sufficient knowledge, ensure compliance and exert effort to be abreast with changes and updates in the laws, procedures, policies and standards of the Bank and of the local regulatory bodies.
b. Ensures strict adherence to internal bank policies and external local banking regulations
c. Provides effective support to the Department Head and coordinates various administrative and logistical requirements of JBAP-MNLG.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder in business, marketing, or other related course
- Good understanding and knowledge on KYC/AML framework and other relevant local regulations.
- Knowledge on local lending regulations
- Equivalent working experience in corporate banking and/or client account services
- Good client-servicing, negotiation, planning and time management skills
