Job Description
- To assist the UH in the smooth execution of day-to-day activities in the Global Markets Operation Unit.
- To support the UH in the review and enhancement of department processes and systems.
- To contribute and provide effective support to the Unit Head and Group Head in achieving common organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Acts as maker for FI transactions in a timely and accurate manner ensuring compliance to the Procedure Manuals, Head Office Policies and Regulatory Offices.
- Handles the Unit’s control books and month-end reports.
- Ensures prompt and accurate settlements in local payment systems (PhilPassPlus & PDDTS) and SWIFT transactions.
- Checks confirmation of Customer deals for Foreign Exchange and Derivatives transactions by processed/prepared by SSC and monitors prompt transmission of confirmations to Customers.
- Checks updates on static data management in OBS and FOX system through requests via SSC.
- Assists in new project/ product launches and coordinates with other departments on system/ UAT.
- Works collaboratively within the department and across the organization to facilitate improvements in treasury processes and systems.
- Ensures end of day process for all related systems are successfully completed.
- Reconciles cash movement and follow up investigations as needed.
- Handles queries in coordination with SSC, TRD and concerned departments/units.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by Management, Group Head and Unit Head.
