  • Section: Job Responsibilities 

    • Manage Operations projects, including technology automation and process improvement initiatives, across the full project life cycle from planning to execution and implementation. 

    • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects, completion of dependencies and closure of open issues. 

    • Support preparation, validation and coordination of Operations-related regulatory reports / returns within prescribed timelines. 

    • Collate data from relevant systems / teams and perform basic checks, reconciliations and reasonableness validations before reporting / submission. 

    • Maintain trackers for project milestones, regulatory reporting due dates, owners, dependencies, submission status and evidence of completion.

     Ensure risks, data gaps, exceptions and control weaknesses are understood, raised, prioritized and escalated in a timely manner for resolution. 

    • Support internal audit, statutory audit, regulatory inspection and compliance review queries related to Operations projects / regulatory reporting. 

    • Ensure adherence to internal policies, maker-checker controls, data confidentiality requirements, regulatory requirements and Head Office guidelines. 

    • Promote a strong control, documentation and risk management culture within Operations. 

    • Other work allocated by the management from time to time.

    • Graduate / Post Graduate / CA / MBA with 3-5 years of experience in banking Operations, preferably with exposure to, regulatory reporting, project handling, compliance reporting or operations control functions. 

    • Experience in defining business requirements, coordinating implementation activities and managing / executing testing activities. 

    • Working knowledge of RBI / statutory reporting requirements, banking products and Operations processes; familiarity with KYC / AML, FEMA and payment / deposit related reporting will be an advantage. 

    • Strong data validation, reconciliation and analytical skills; comfortable working with Excel, system-generated reports and management dashboards. 

    • Ability to interpret regulatory / internal reporting requirements and convert them into clear operational actions, trackers and checklists. 

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with Compliance, Finance, Business, Technology and Operations stakeholders. 

    • Develops strong relationships and personal credibility with Operations users and understands how their requirements can be incorporated into effective solutions. 

    • Attention to detail, quality conscious approach and ability to work accurately under timelines and internal pressure.
