Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management & Support

  • Manage and maintain enterprise-grade Wintel infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
  • Administer and optimize Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure platforms.
  • Perform system patching, vulnerability remediation, and configuration compliance across Windows and Linux servers.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning to ensure optimal operations.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure infrastructure compliance with BNM RMiT and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to reduce exposure to acceptable levels.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and evidence for infrastructure changes and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with internal audit and risk teams to address findings and implement corrective actions.

Change Management

  • Follow structured change management processes for system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Assess and document potential risks associated with changes, ensuring minimal impact to business operations.
  • Participate in Change meetings and provide technical input for infrastructure-related changes.

Technical Expertise & Advisory

  • Act as a subject-matter expert (SME) for Wintel and virtualization technologies.
  • Provide technical advisory and support to end-users and internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, escalating to vendors when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

 


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles within financial institutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
    • Linux (RHEL, CentOS)
    • Nutanix AHV and Prism Central
    • VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
  • Familiarity with patch management tools (e.g., SCCM, Ansible).
  • Experience with vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Tenable).
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes, especially change and incident management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as BNM RMiT, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.

 


Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, Nutanix NCP, or ITIL Foundation.
  • Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
