About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Relationship Manager to join our Corporate Banking team.
This role provides an opportunity to manage a portfolio of local and multinational corporate clients while delivering a full suite of banking solutions including lending, cash management, trade finance, treasury, foreign exchange, and digital banking services.
The successful candidate will partner with senior client stakeholders, work closely with product specialists and regional teams, and play a key role in driving business growth while maintaining strong risk and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Business Development
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and multinational clients.
- Build trusted relationships with key decision makers including CFOs, Treasurers, and senior management teams.
- Identify client needs and deliver tailored banking solutions across lending, cash management, trade finance, treasury, foreign exchange, and other corporate banking products.
- Drive business growth through relationship deepening, cross-selling, and acquisition of new opportunities.
- Conduct regular client meetings and strategic discussions to understand business objectives and support clients' growth initiatives.
Portfolio Management & Financial Performance
- Manage assigned revenue, deposit, loan, and foreign exchange targets.
- Monitor portfolio profitability and facility utilization to maximize risk-adjusted returns.
- Prepare business forecasts and contribute to budget achievement.
- Negotiate pricing and transaction structures to optimize revenue while maintaining long-term client relationships.
Credit & Risk Management
- Conduct financial analysis and credit assessment to support new transactions, renewals, amendments, and periodic reviews.
- Manage credit facilities throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with approved terms and conditions.
- Monitor financial performance, covenant compliance, and overall portfolio quality.
- Partner closely with Credit Risk and relevant stakeholders to structure appropriate banking solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product partners, operations, compliance, legal, and regional teams to deliver seamless client solutions.
- Coordinate onboarding, KYC reviews, account opening, and implementation activities to ensure an excellent client experience.
- Support regional and cross-border banking initiatives for multinational clients.
- Prepare management reports and business updates as required.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies, regulatory requirements, AML/KYC standards, and credit governance frameworks.
- Maintain a strong risk culture while balancing client service excellence and business growth objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Master's Degree and/or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are advantageous.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, Commercial Banking, or Financial Institutions.
- Proven experience managing corporate clients and delivering banking solutions.
- Experience in credit analysis, lending, treasury, cash management, trade finance, or transaction banking is highly preferred.
- Exposure to multinational corporations and cross-border business is a strong advantage.
