Responsibilities

The following are representative examples of responsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to take responsibility for some or multiple of these activities.

  • Regular communication and information sharing with branches, group companies, and relevant departments across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Supporting situational assessment, evaluation, and improvement initiatives related to cybersecurity and technology domains.
  • Supporting the planning and implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing security awareness and understanding, such as training programs and awareness activities.
  • Planning or supporting exercises and training designed to strengthen incident response capabilities and overall cyber resilience.
  • Identifying, organizing, analyzing, and sharing newly emerging cyber threat and risk information with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinating with and supporting relevant departments in responding to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Preparing documentation and materials, as well as supporting management reporting and communication with stakeholders.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in technology, cybersecurity, or IT business management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the financial services or banking industry (experience within Technology, Cybersecurity, or related support functions is preferred).
  • Experience in driving or supporting business management functions related to technology and/or cybersecurity.
  • A proven track record of working with business and IT teams in the planning and execution of technology or cybersecurity strategies, including progress tracking, governance activities, and regular management reporting.
  • Good understanding of banking-related technology and cybersecurity functions, with experience collaborating with virtual and cross-border teams across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced technical and business environment.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail and a risk-aware mindset.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, particularly in areas such as technology governance, cybersecurity processes, or operational efficiency.
  • Understanding of financial regulations, including MAS guidelines and the Banking Act, is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Project Life Cycle (PLC) and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) frameworks is an advantage.
  • Experience in establishing or supporting training, education, or capability development frameworks within technology or cybersecurity functions is an advantage.
