Job Responsibilities
Compliance, Administration & Internal Processes

- Prepare instructions for loan disbursement, securities issuance, rollovers, and derivative settlements.
- Notify investors/lenders of drawdowns, issuances, rollovers, payments, and corporate actions.
- Execute daily securitisation/structured finance operations based on transaction documents and internal procedures.
- Handle regular and ad‑hoc reporting for risk management.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, company, and branch rules.
- Support group compliance reporting.
Client Service Management (Internal / External)

- Coordinate with middle office and back office teams across SMBC branches.
- Assist with deal execution, including documentation checks and credit terms verification.
- Prepare control cards for credit administration and monitor due dates.
- Maintain proper custody of transaction documents and conditions precedent documents.
- Work collaboratively as “TEAM SMBC/SMFG” to deliver high‑quality client service.
Financial Performance & Business Support

- Support marketers and RMs in transaction execution and achieving financial and non‑financial targets.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned by the manager.
Risk Management

- Prepare and submit required reporting and instructions accurately for internal and external processes.
- Maintain documents in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

- University graduate; business‑level English proficiency.
- Minimum two years of experience in trustee/agency, middle office, or loan/settlement operations at a commercial or investment bank.
- Experience in structured finance is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Bloomberg is an advantage.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and procedural discipline.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) at business-report level.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Experience in securitisation or SPV operations is preferred
- Understanding of compliance, credit processes, and regulatory reporting is preferred
