1. Key Responsibilities

  • Process export transactions and trade loans, including export bills, receipts, PCFC/EPC and other permitted trade finance facilities.
  • Process import and other trade-related foreign exchange payments, including document scrutiny, core banking entries and exchange-position reporting or reconciliation with Treasury.
  • Prepare, verify and action incoming and outgoing SWIFT/SFMS messages and ensure transaction records are complete and correctly referenced.
  • Monitor transaction maturities, pending items, exceptions, control books, trackers and registers, with timely escalation and follow-up.
  • Support regulatory monitoring and reporting, including IDPMS, EDPMS, bill of entry, export evidence and other applicable RBI or Head Office requirements.
  • Ensure transactions are completed within stipulated TATs with accuracy, appropriate maker-checker controls and proper documentation.
  • Maintain orderly records and housekeeping of physical and electronic files, including support for audits, reconciliations and day-end activities.

 

2. Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

  • Knowledge of import, export, trade finance, foreign exchange payment and related regulatory requirements.
  • Good understanding of SWIFT/SFMS messaging, core banking and trade processing systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, stakeholder coordination and escalation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
