Solution Sales

Role Overview

The Solution Sales Analyst role is responsible for supporting the origination, marketing, and execution of FX and derivatives solutions for SMBC Thailand’s customers.

This position is well-suited for entry-level candidates with a strong interest in financial markets, FX, and derivatives sales, who are looking to build a long-term career in banking.

The successful candidate will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to understand client needs, provide market insights and pricing support, and contribute to delivering tailored risk management solutions with a high level of professionalism and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team in originating, marketing, and executing FX and derivatives solutions for corporate clients
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify client needs and assist in providing appropriate pricing and market ideas
• Contribute to the development of risk management solutions aligned with client objectives
• Assist in managing and maintaining client relationships, ensuring a high standard of service
• Work closely with product partners and related departments to ensure smooth execution of transactions
• Monitor market developments and support the team with market insights and analysis
• Contribute to portfolio growth and team performance through disciplined sales support and coordination
• Ensure all activities are conducted in line with SMBC policies, delegated authority, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate strong ownership, responsibility, and sound judgment in day-to-day tasks
• Support team development through knowledge sharing and act as a reliable team member within the Global Markets function

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields
• 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates are welcome)
• Strong interest in FX, derivatives, financial markets, and client-facing (sales) roles
• Basic understanding of financial instruments, FX concepts, or risk management (through coursework or internship is acceptable)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Good command of English and Thai

Preferred (Advantageous)

• Internship or exposure to treasury, global markets, or investment products
• Knowledge of FX and derivatives products such as forwards, swaps, or options
• Interest in combining analysis with sales and client interaction
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
