The SFDA internship is 10 weeks in duration during which candidates, typically in their penultimate year of university, will gain direct exposure to our Structured Finance business. This internship offers a hands-on experience in the origination and execution of structured and project finance transactions, primarily in energy, infrastructure (core and digital), and natural resources sectors. You will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining insight into financial modeling, credit analysis, and deal structuring.
Job responsibilities:
- Support financial modeling and credit analysis of structured finance lending and/or advisory transactions
- Assist in the preparation of credit applications and deal administrative procedures for new transactions
- Review of due diligence materials and transaction documentation
- Assist in preparing marketing materials, market research, and strategy papers as required
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field is preferred
- Interest in structured finance, project finance, and energy and infrastructure (including digital) sectors
- Good analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with financial analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and financial modeling is a plus
- Resourceful, organised, pro-active and able to hand multiple tasks
