Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with global CRSD team (Head Office in Tokyo, Osaka Office, NY Office, LN Office, HK Office, and Shanghai Office, both in English and Japanese).
- Provide corporate research, industry research, discussion papers, which are used for the bank’s credit protection and business promotions, in a timely manner with high quality.
- Achieve target with quantitative and qualitative assessment.
- Meet the target of achievement ratio defined.
- Ensure accurate & quality work output & deliverables by independently setting high performance standards.
- Contribute to the development of business / credit protection and/or being a good representative holding a seminar / visiting clients with our management etc.
- Provide accurate, relevant and needed information to support front office's marketing activity and/or credit department transaction analysis/ portfolio management.
- Establish and expand information source base, setting up cross border info sharing channels, streamlining workflow for CRSD's sustainable growth and/or productivity improvement to ensure that the team is consistently prepared with information before needed.
- Other ad hoc duties.
Requirements
- Degree qualifications in Finance / Accounting / Economics or related discipline.
- Good analytical skills with at least 5 years or more related research experience either in rating agencies or financial institutions covering APAC markets.
- Experience in metals & mining, telecoms, media & technology (TMT), power, utilities and infrastructure will be an added advantage.
- Positive learning attitude, with good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Agile and adaptable with strong project management skills and experience to ensure completion of projects within tight timelines.
- Good team player as well as able to work independently.
- Meticulous and self-motivated individual with the passion to pursue excellence.
- Occasional travelling is required.
