VP, Data Management (Data Analytics)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 1. Identifying and prioritising data-driven improvements opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders
2. 2. Developing and implementation of data analytics solutions to address specific business challenges
3. 3. Conducting design workshops to co-create use-centric solutions aligned to business goals
4. 4. Providing analytics support and dashboard development to enhance decision-making and operational performance.
5. 5. Developing and promoting analytical models and dashboards that deliver actionable insights.
6. 6. Ensuring data solutions adhere to data management and data governance policies
7. 7. Maintaining smooth day-to-day data operations to ensure data availability and accuracy for analytics deliverables
8. 8. Identifying and resolving data quality issues in collaboration with cross functional teams
9. 9. Establishing best practices and guidelines for analytical tools and processes to optimise data usage
10. 10. Developing and delivering training programs and workshops to enhance data literacy across the organization
11. 11. Delivering regular data communications to raise data awareness and promote a strong data governance culture

OTHERS

1. To perform other duties as assigned by the Management, HOD and Team Lead.
2. To relief or cover duties of staff members in the department in his/her absence.
3. Ensure timely escalation to Team Lead/HOD/Management in case of any issues.

Working Experience (Years / Type)

1. Bachelor degree with 8+ years of experience in data science, data analytics, data governance, data management or MIS/reporting
2. Subject Matter Expertise along with extensive hands-on experience in driving the development and implementation of data analytics solutions specifically within banking and financial institutions 
3. Proficient in BI tools such as Qlikview, Tableau, Power BI etc with proven experience in developing interactive, effective and insight-driven management dashboards and business reports
4. Strong Python/R programming skills and expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
5. Experience in data management, data integration, data governance and ability to work across departments and business units/functions effectively
6. Experience in conducting data discovery, performing root cause analysis and making recommendations for data quality issues resolution.
7. Experience in managing metadata and master data management
8. Strong knowledge of data management and data governance framework, UI/UX principles and data analytics best practices
9. Strong experience on data governance tool such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation etc will be an added advantage
