Job Responsibilities
- Credit Risk Management
- Prepare high-quality credit applications, reports, risk assessments including comprehensive financial and sensitivity analyses and validation of key assumptions for a portfolio of transactions including but not limited to leverage and acquisition financing (core requirement) as well as structured credit, fund finance and/or real estate financing.
- Distil complex credit structures and risk considerations into clear, concise and well-structured applications that are easily understood by approvers (management and/or Credit).
- Ensure credit applications and consent requests are circulated, reviewed and approved in a timely manner, with high standard of accuracy, minimal errors and no overdue submissions.
- Maintain strong collaborative working relationship with key stakeholders (eg credit department, origination teams) and respond promptly and effectively to credit-related queries questions or requests.
- Engage proactively with CPM team members by providing regular updates, participating in portfolio discussions and escalating material risks or issues early to Team Lead/Head of CPM where required.
- Control and Compliance Management
- Ensure full adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, procedures and compliance standards across the portfolio; support audit or regulatory remediation efforts where required.
- Prepare for and respond promptly and comprehensively to internal and external audit requests.
- Deliver accurate, timely and high-quality reports required by regulators, head office and internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements
- An experienced professional with 7-10 years of relevant experience in credit risk analysis and portfolio management with leverage and acquisition financing as core area of expertise, and exposure to structured credit, fund finance and/or real estate financing.
- Strong credit judgment with deep expertise in evaluating complex capital structures, collateral pools, and bespoke financing solutions; well‑versed in credit risk assessment, credit controls, and related administrative processes.
- High proficiency in financial modelling, supported by strong numerical and financial acumen; able to interpret financial information, assess and update cashflow projections, and conduct sensitivity analyses.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven track record of effective engagement with senior stakeholders, credit committees, and control functions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, perform effectively under tight deadlines, and contribute to cross‑functional projects or initiatives.
- Demonstrated strategic mindset, with a focus on portfolio optimisation, portfolio quality, and forward‑looking risk management.
