Key Responsibilities
- Capital Markets & Solutions Growth: Drive the strategic growth agenda for the Capital Markets & Solutions franchise by developing and implementing initiatives that support business objectives. Design and enhance operating frameworks that enable compliant and effective client engagement across Bank and Securities entities while delivering integrated product capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with senior stakeholders across front-office and support functions to provide strategic guidance, thought leadership, and market expertise, ensuring the successful execution of business priorities and achievement of targeted outcomes.
- Product Development & Innovation: Collaborate with business leaders and key support functions to identify, develop, and deploy new products and solutions in a scalable and efficient manner, including bespoke derivative structures and broader capital markets offerings tailored to client needs.
- Business Management & Strategy Execution: Lead strategic planning and execution initiatives across the Bank and Securities platforms, driving alignment, governance, and delivery of key business objectives and transformational programs.
- Risk Management & Governance: Ensure all business frameworks, operating models, and change initiatives comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, including the development and maintenance of relevant policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
- Operational Excellence & Digital Transformation: Champion the adoption of AI, Copilot, and other emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency, automate processes, improve decision-making, and deliver scalable business solutions across the platform.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in business management, governance, risk and controls, or related functions.
- Extensive experience across business management, financial planning, governance, regulatory compliance, and transformation initiatives within banking and securities entities.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements across key jurisdictions, including MAS, JFSA, HKMA/SFC, APRA, and frameworks relating to client consent and firewalls.
- Deep knowledge of banking and securities products, including cross-entity collaboration initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end stakeholder engagement, alignment, and execution across complex initiatives.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and balance short- and long-term business objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong people leadership and team management capabilities.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing business procedures, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
