Job Responsibilities

 

・Manage the various credit policies (eg, Functional reviews, New Products, Group Governance) 

・Enhance credit portfolio management such as regional Risk Appetite Framework including ESG aspects

・Review regional new business and products by assessing gaps between the existing policy and procedures

・Collaborate with business units/relevant departments when assessing market information/event; such as internal & external early warning signals in managing the bank’s credit portfolio

・Analyse and provide advice on material deals in the region from credit risk perspective

・Support all other regional credit risk management planning (e.g. early warning management) 

・Actively involved and address any regulatory reporting, inspection and internal audit issues

 

Job Requirements

・Degree or equivalentAt least 8 years' experience in Banking, preferably in Credit Risk

・Strong Credit Risk Management skill sets in Wholesale Banking and/or Retail Banking (e.g. credit risk management related policy and procedures, portfolio management skill sets and etc)

・Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

・Fluent in written and spoken English, as well as proficiency in Japanese as this role will liaise with Head Office frequently

・Able to work under tight timeline

・Demonstrates a strong understanding of Japanese banking culture and organizational dynamics, and is able to maintain effective communication with Head Office
